Chris Magner grew up in Melrose, Massachusetts, seven miles north of Boston. After high school and a short-lived attempt at college, his father suggested it was time to find a “real job.” Instead, Chris joined the Air Force at 21, instantly becoming one of the only Airmen in the dorms legally able to buy beer.

He spent five years as a Vehicle Operator before transitioning to a sixteen-year career as a Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. After retiring, he worked for over two years as a contractor in Afghanistan. He lives in North Carolina with his fiancée, Colette, and is the proud father of Logan and Jacob.
